Seiko Ananta Spring Drive watches
This article is about two things. First, about the very nice Seiko Ananta Spring Drive watches (yes they are available in the US), and also about "what you need to know about the Seiko Spring Drive movement." In addition to the Spring Drive version of the Ananta watches, there are also versions of the watches with in-house made in Japan, Seiko automatic mechanical movements. Though I am going to save additional discussion of them for another article.
Chopard Classic Racing Jacky Ickx 5th Edition Watch Hands-On
2011 sees the release of the 5th version of Chopard's Classic Racing Jacky Ickx Edition watches. The former high-profile race car driver who was popular in the 1970s has a long history with timing and watch brands. Chopard is by no means the first brand to honor the driver with timepieces. Though I believe that they currently are the only brand making new Jacky Ickx themed watches. With the 5th Edition limited production model now released I assume that that the first four editions sold pretty well. Done in a Mille Miglia style case
Cartier Calibre Watch Review
There is a word that is thrown around a lot in the watch world that means the public takes a watch (or anything else for that matter) seriously. That word is legitimacy and I love to hear the French pronounce it. Cartier is what they call a legitimate brand. They have heaps of reputation
