Really not a lot to add to this video in terms of stuff to say. The merits are there for your eyes. You have the very friendly Arnd at A. Lange & Sohne wearing TheTimeTV's signature little microphone talking about the new Richard Lange "Pour le Merite" and new 1815 watch line that was officially released at SIHH in January a couple months back. These videos do the new watch line justice, and it is interesting to get a glimpse at the set up's that brands display at SIHH (always impressive). You can see a little bit of the super-sized Lange 1 made clock sized at the display. Another cool feature is the supersized exploded model of the new 1815 watch's movement.
Patek Philippe Wants To Like You; Finds It So Difficult
A few days ago I wrote about a new watch coming out of the house of Patek Philippe. Namely, the reference 5960P at about $80,000. A beautiful watch, but why all the hubbub for a timepiece that costs so much? For that money anything should be possible right? Well some people find themselves waiting around for such watches to come out, for others, we observe such watches with mere interest or strong desire. Regardless, Patek Philippe is serious about its product in America, at least on paper they are. The true message to Americans will be to appeal to our sense of value, taste, and preferred methods of purchasing luxury goods.

One of the best surprises at SIHH 2011 was how much I enjoyed the A. Lange & Sohne Richard Lange Tourbillon "Pour le Merite." The regulator style watch took influence from a pocket watch made in the Dresden area a while back. It had three overlapping subdials
